2009 Birthday Celebration (Part IV) @ Ma Maison
The part IV celebration was done on 12/11, a big thank you to my dear friends Fui Li, Choy Yen, Choy Peng and Kian Seng who brought me over to Ma Maison @ Bugis Junction.

2009 Birthday Celebration (Part II) in Orchard + Christmas Deco in Orchard
I had my 2nd birthday celebration in Orchard on last week (10/11/09). A big thank you to my colleague - Felice for buying me the dinner + delicious dessert!

Thanks Felice! I was like thinking to get this Seafood Sizzlelini by the time we walked in the restaurant... you made my little dream came true!! hohoho!
I know you weren't happy with the low standard food, bear with it dear. We just don't ever go back!
Here's my feedback on the restaurant... I don't give feedback on my blog normally, but this time I feel like shouting out!
From the perspective of food - Rating : 2.5/5
Nothing is so special about the food. Although the picture of Seafood Sizzlelini looks pretty impressive, I wasn't delighted by it. It doesn't taste really good and the seafood was so little, 2 prawns, 2 small slices of crayfish, etc.. I still felt hungry after eating..poor me. Guess what, Felice was poorer.. the pasta that she got was a bit like 'tasteless'...and she kept adding salt on it. She said that was the 1st time she ate out and needed to add salt on the food... I would be really angry if I was the one who got the tasteless pasta !
From the perspective of service - Rating: 2/5
I could sense how poor was the service just right after 5 minutes. No smiling, no greeting, no good service. By the time the waiter served the food, he just put right on the table and walked away, we were like ... 'har?!' And he didn't bother who ordered what.. he just put the food on the table.. gosh! we weren't dine in hawker center, dude!
From the perspective of price - Rating 2/5
Which means their foods are expensive. I can get almost the same food in LENAS while I pay much lesser.
I am not sure why, but I have the feeling that they don't really care about the customers... Would you lose something if you smile to the customers??

We managed to see the Christmas deco in Orchard at night.. I love X'mas and I really love anything about X'mas. However, a bit disappointed this year.. I don't really feel X'mas when I look at those decos. I still remember the Christmas deco in Orchard back in 2006/ 2007(?) was so grand and beautiful, do you still remember the crystal X'mas tree / the silver X'mas tree / the golden X'mas tree? Compare to this year.. what's it? Even last year was better then...

There is a huge X'mas tree placed in Orchard Central.. we had a pic :)

I gotta say it was a special movie preview experience for me...You must be wondering why?
1- It's a 3D movie (I had never watched any 3D movie before this)
2- There was choir who sang us the Christmas song
3- Early Christmas gifts were placed on every seat! (I didn't get any gift/ goodies bag from the previous preview screening that I attended)

Well, here's the plot of the movie/ story..
A Christmas Carol is a Victorian morality tale of an old and bitter miser, Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey), who undergoes a profound experience of redemption over the course of one night. Mr. Scrooge is a financier/money-changer who has devoted his life to the accumulation of wealth. He holds anything other than money in contempt, including friendship, love and the Christmas season. But an encounter with the ghostly figure of Jacob Marley (Gary Oldman) sets the stage for a mysterious and magical encounter with three phantasmic beings to help him realize the true magic of Christmas itself.
This film is written and directed by Robert Zemeckis, and stars Jim Carrey in a multitude of roles, including Ebenezer Scrooge as a young, middle-aged, and old man, and the three ghosts who haunt Scrooge. Guess what, the 3-D film was produced through the process of performance capture!

I have to admit that watching 3D movie is so fun + enjoyable! Everything look so real as if you are in the movie!
- While watching A Christmas Carol, there were a few moments where I intended to catch the snow flakes in the movie!! The snow flake looked so real , and it was only in front of my eyes!
- There was a scene where Ebenezer Scrooge (Jim Carrey) was caught by the ghost and he was flying back to his old town, guess what, I intended to put up my hands and fly with him too!
- The final part of the movie when Scrooge turned to be good, he danced happily on the Christmas day.. ya, I wished to join the fun and danced together with him!
It was so fun to catch this film in 3D!!
