張棟樑 《別再驚動愛情》

Nicholas Teoh was on 'The Sheng Siong Show' on Channel 8 last Saturday. Haven't seen him for so long, he looks so much skinny now! He sang his new song live on the show - 《別再驚動愛情》, he sang so well :) Right after the show, I googled for this song. Really like this song :))

Actually I think Nicholas is a quite talented person with a good voice! Remember when he was first became famous in Malaysia, it was like almost ten years back. Sorry to say that, his first music video shooting was terrible. So 'kampung' feel! Despite the low cost production of the video, I guess he is still a good singer.



Talking about his first hit - 黄昏 Huang Hun (Dusk), it reminds me of the Astro's singing competition. He was one of the outstanding contestants and I'm glad that he won! I was still in secondary school by the time the competition was carried out. Guess what, I watched that whole competition (because I was unsubscribed from Astro later on). Surprisingly I managed to see this competition clip on Youtube even it was almost ten years back. If you are also one of the viewers that witnessed that whole competition, I'm sure you will be glad to see this video clip again :)





Nicholas, thanks for singing all the good songs! Do sing more because you have a good voice :)

The most patient and docile cat ever!

I couldn't wait to share this video after watching it on Facebook this morning.
I am a cat person and yes, I loveeeeee cats so much!
This video shows the good relationship between a cute baby and a super cute fat cat :)

I feel like hugging the big fat cat like how the baby does in the video....but I'm not dare to put my head on the cat, looks like the baby takes the cat as a pillow? Haha.. so cute!
This video reminds me of my 5 cats at hometown, awww...I miss them! I have a similar cat at home but she is not that big size, guess my cat has done a lot of exercises?
I think the cat in the video is super patient, don't think my cat will let me do the same on her... haha..

Love all the cats in the world, may them be safe and happy all times :)
If you don't love cats, at least don't hurt them. Stray cats deserve to live good too!

Be Strong!

There are times that we might feel stress and tired of our lives, perhaps that should be called as the lowest peak of the life. When you have done thousand things but nothing seems to be right; when you have the strongest mentality but the situation is just not working for you; when you need support but there is no one who stands strong besides you; when you hope for the best but things just don't workout. 

I might not say I am facing all the situation above, but somehow there are moments that I do feel tired of moving forward with full confidence. There are so many issues to deal with in our lives - work life, personal life, friendship life, love life, family life and countless issues.

I believe there are high peak and low peak in every one's live. You tend to be good enough when you are at the high peak, oppositely you need to strive to live better if you are at your low peak.

I guess the second half of 2011 doesn't workout for me. But today, I have a few words that wanna tell myself seriously.

Be strong, JC! 

Things are not that bad afterall. 

You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great!
Thanks to this inspring quote which seems to be simple, but it's very meaningful and also has given me full of strength. 


So, I should say it this way:

I don't have to be great to start, but I have to start to be great! 

I must stand up and live with full confidence again :)

The special interview

It was one of the many interviews that I had recently attended.
It was not that ordinary, it was kinda special for me.

On 28th October, I couldn't believe that I went to M Hotel at Tanjong Pagar for a walk-in interview.
Upon arrival, tons of pretty ladies were there with business attire and full make up.
What job is that?
Flight attendant for Emirates Airlines.

Although my height is 171cm, I had never dreamt of becoming a cabin crew.
I must say that I was brave enough on that day.
Though the requirements stated on the newspapers seem to be 'easy' in a way, however you would feel stress if you got to see other ladies who dress up so nice and have the cabin crew look!

This is an experience that I do not want to forget, therefore I decided to write a blog post for it after almost a month passed.

The walk-in interview started from 9:00 until 16:00.
It was my first time attending such interview, didn't expect to see such a big crowd.
I guess I arrived the hotel around 1PM.
I could still see a lot of candidates out there, in fact, I was quite shocked to see them as I didn't wear as professional as them.

So, the first step was to submit resume, 1 full-length photo and passport-sized photo (forgot 1 or 2 cps), and I was asked to check my height too.
Later on, I was asked to be seated inside the ballroom.
After waiting for quite a long time (30 minutes or more?) , 15 of us were called to another room. We were given a topic and we would need to discuss about it. Of course the more you talk, the more you present yourself.
After chit-chatting for 10-15 minutes, the 1st round was done. All the 15 candidates needed to wait outside the ballroom and let the judges to decide who would move in 2nd round.

It was very competitive, you must get yourself prepared if you are going for such interview. Read online regarding the tips to attend such interview.
I didn't get myself 100% well-prepared, however, it was a great experience. At least, I learnt something and managed to see how is the interview for flight attendant. And yes, I had the braveness!

Actually for this type of interview, the 1st impression is very important. Besides that, you need to have luck as well. Sometimes it works for those who are not that desperate, it really depends on luck :)

Movie Preview : IMMORTALS 3D

Special thanks to UIP Singapore and Omy.sg  for the invitation to the preview screening of the epic 3D adventure, IMMORTALS!

My friend and I was in Shaw Theater Lido yesterday for the movie preview. Movie started around 7:20pm and it ran for 110 minutes. Immortals is rated as M-18 in Singapore which means only open to audience aged 18 and above due to violence and sexual scenes in the movie!

While waiting for the movie, we took a few photos. The 3D glasses at Shaw Lido look quite cool, and the most important part is that they are very clean :) Thank you! 

When I received the movie invitation from Omy.sg, I was amazed by this movie poster! I knew I shouldn't miss this, mostly is because I love watching this type of movie - action & adventure. Feel like it is a must-watch type of movie !

I really enjoyed watching the movie within that 110 minutes. Perhaps you don't know, I am the type of person who might lost concentration on the movie for about few seconds and think of my own thing in real life. If the movie isn't that great, I will definitely lost concentration. However, I find myself paying full concentration on the movie last night, had no chance to skip my mind! The sound effect, the 3D effect, the story are all awesome. The violence scenes are so real, there are some parts that I dared not to see.. ! Be prepared as you will get to see a lot of bleeding scenes, but still you know that you gotta watch this movie! Overall, I would rate it as a 4/5 stars movie. Somehow I think the ending isn't that perfect. The movie ends so sudden, but I think it's a clue that there will be Immortals II.
